Each student is represented here. What we are working on is clearly displayed. Parents, teacher and students discuss what we are working on and what else can be done. The next stage shows goals.
Once a child is reading fluently they can choose to be tested as to how many words they can read. This child is reading well at green. The circled words are ones she still needs to learn. The cards are accessible to all students.Planning
Long term planning
Goal setting report: After each child in my class has been at school for 6 weeks, I assess progress and complete a report for them. Parents, the student and I meet to discuss progress and set goals for each student.
